Our mission is to raise critical funds for Parkinson’s research and patient care by creating and donating gold and silver sculptures. Each piece was originally carved by an artist who has Parkinson's and reflects the endurance of the human spirit—scars, twists, and beauty that survive against the odds. In partnership with leading hospitals and nonprofits, Branches of Light Foundation works to advance treatments, inspire hope, and bring us closer to a cure.

A Family's Fight.
The Branches of Light Foundation, founded by artist William Daggett, was born from both his art and his fight with Parkinson’s disease. A master sculptor, William transforms ancient juniper wood into works of movement and spirit, guided by what he calls the whisper of the wood. Even after Parkinson’s threatened his hands, deep brain stimulation surgery restored his ability to carve.

Today, the foundation carries his legacy forward by recasting his sculptures in precious metals to raise funds for Parkinson’s research, treatment, education, and patient support. Our mission is to turn art into light, and light into healing.

The Artist
William Daggett is an award-winning, American sculptor known for transforming ancient juniper wood into fine art that embodies movement, resilience, and emotion. For decades, he has collaborated with nature to create pieces that reflect both the spirit of the desert and his own lifelong creative calling.
Now, William has begun casting select sculptures—originally carved from centuries-old juniper—into silver and gold. This process preserves the spirit of the original wood while elevating it into enduring works of art, carrying forward the stories of survival etched into each tree.

After being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease—a condition that runs in his family—William founded the Branches of Light Foundation. His vision is to use art as a force for healing by raising funds for research, treatment, and ultimately a cure for Parkinson’s. Through these precious-metal sculptures, William continues his mission of turning resilience into hope.
